Poetry from today
Room 17 are becoming very good poets with lovely imagery and expressive thinking....
What do you think?
I asked a little boy who couldn't see... By Room 17
I asked a little boy who cannot see,
"And what is colour like?"
"Why, blue," said he
"is like the rushing waves when it reaches the sand.
Someone yelling; in agony, that is red;
And grey is like the thundering clouds; preparing for rain; and I think
Yellow must be like the safeness of my bed
And purple is like listening to soothing; music on a dreary day.
